Description Central Evia

The central region of Evia, that surrounds the Eubean capital, Charkida, is constituted except from the Municipality Chalkida, from the Municipalities N. Artaki, Lilantia, Avlida and Anthidona. The two last ones are in the opposite side of Central Greece, at Evripos. The region of the Eubean center is characterized by the brilliant historical presence of certain from the most important cities of the greek antiquity.
Chalkida, literally beautiful gains immediately whoever steps on the old bridge of Evripos and passes in Evia. A city with history and culture, that is lost in depths of centuries. Eretria, this brilliant monument of Greek cultural past, constitutes today, via her ferry, the second, afterwards Chalkida, entry to Eastern and Southern Evia. The history, the lot of monuments and the beaches constitute the motive for her visit of this, so much near in Attica, region.
