Description Limnos
Limnos is found at the northeastern end of the Aegean Sea between Samothrace, Mouth Athos, Lesvos and Imbros. It geographically belongs in the Prefecture of Lesvos with the small island of Agios Efstratios. It is the eighth in size Greek island and it has one extensive coastline with crowd of impetuses and gulves that lend to it a unique form. It is an impressive volcanic island, with golden sandy beaches, spotless seas, low hills, traditional settlements, archaeological places and coveted products.
The monuments of the past (Poliochni, Kaveiria, Ifaisteia) the archaeological and Byzantine museum, the unique natural beauties (Chortarolimni), the fishing places the immense beaches and the clean sandy beaches with transparent crystal waters, are poles of attraction for each one that seeks for relaxing and pleasant vacations, far from satiated touristically places.
