City of Rethymnon

Canyons and Caves of Rethymnon

Rethymnon has especially beautiful canyons that cross the mountains and the ranges of the prefecture. The Kourtaliotiko gorge has a length of 3km and ends at the famous Lake Preveli. Kotsifou gorge starts from Kanevos village and ends in the village of Selia, gorge Patsou at Amari, the Prasse gorge witch leading at Platanias beach in north east City of Rethymnon, the Arkadiotiko gorge, the Vederon gorge of Melon village and other smaller ones.
